Computing Services E-mail Access
Microsoft Outlook is the primary e-mail client recommended by Computing Services for users on Windows computers. Outlook allows our employees to manage e-mails, contacts, tasks and calendar information from a single interface. Outlook also provides access to a centralized address book of all SDSURF employees and shared resources through public folders. For a list of additional Outlook features and resource links, visit the Outlook, How To web page.
SDSURF e-mail accounts may be accessed through the web using Outlook Web Access (OWA), the web version of Microsoft Outlook. OWA allows you to manage your e-mail account through any web browser and without the need of any additional software. For a complete list of OWA features, visit the Outlook Web Access, How To web page.
Microsoft Entourage is the primary e-mail client recommended by Computing Services for users on Apple OSX computers. Entourage allows employees to manage e-mails, contacts and calendar information from a single interface. Entourage also provides access to shared resources through public folders. For a list of additional Entourage features and resource links, visit the Entourage, How To web page.
SDSURF's e-mail system also supports connectivity from e-mail clients using IMAPS and Windows Mobile ActiveSync. For additional information on these two connection methods, visit the "Configure E-mail Client" web page. NOTE: Your Foundation e-mail account credentials will be required to access the site.
